Salesforce
The Salesforce connector allows Loyal Guru to natively integrate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), enabling seamless access, synchronization, and export of customer data in real time and with secure communication. The connector leverages Salesforce's official REST APIs, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and future-proof integration.
Prerequisites
Before creating the connector, configure the following in your SFMC account:
1. Create an API Integration (Installed Package)
- Go to Setup → Apps → Installed Packages in SFMC.
- Create a new package and add an API Integration inside it.
- Choose Server-to-Server (no user interaction required).
- Copy the credentials you'll need:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Authentication Base URI
- REST and SOAP Base URIs
2. Create a Data Extension
- Data in SFMC is stored in Data Extensions (custom tables, not directly in Contacts).
- Create at least one Data Extension to receive the exported audience data.
- Define the fields and primary keys that will hold the Loyal Guru customer data.
Managing the Salesforce Connector
Go to Customers → Webhooks & Connectors to create and manage Salesforce connectors.
Create Connector
Click New Connector and select Salesforce. Fill in the following fields:

Edit Connector
Click the pencil (edit) button next to the connector to update its configuration.
View Connector
Click the eye (view) button to see the parameters currently configured for the connector.
Delete Connector
Click the trash (delete) button to delete a connector.
To delete a connector, you must first delete all actions within it individually.
Managing Actions
View Actions
Once the connector is configured, click on it to see the list of actions associated with it.
Create Actions
Click New Action inside the connector. Fill in the following fields:

| Trigger | Segment in (customers who entered the audience) or Segment out (customers who left the audience) |

| Customer field | Loyal Guru customer field to export |
| Data extension field | Target field in the SFMC Data Extension to map to the Loyal Guru field |
| Data extension primary key | The field designated as primary key in the Data Extension |
| Periodicity | How frequently the data syncs from Loyal Guru to SFMC |
Currently, the Salesforce connector supports audience exports only. Build the audience first using the Loyal Guru Audience Builder before configuring the export action.
