Look & Feel
Both Scratch & Win and Spin the Wheel support visual customization to match your brand and campaign context.
Customization Optionsβ
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Card / wheel artwork | Upload custom images for the card face, reveal state, or wheel background |
| Brand colors | Primary and accent colors applied to the UI chrome |
| Segment labels | Text displayed on each wheel wedge or scratch card prize zone |
| Animation style | Reveal animation speed and style (where configurable) |
| Copy | Call-to-action text, win/lose messages, and terms disclosure |
| Localization | Labels and copy per language for multilingual programs |
App Integrationβ
Games are surfaced in the customer app via the Streaming API. Your app fetches active game instances, renders the configured visuals, and registers plays when the customer interacts.
Endpointsβ
| Method | Path | Description |
|---|---|---|
GET | /games | List all active games for the company |
GET | /games/:id | Get a single game with its full configuration (prizes, look & feel, play limits) |
POST | /games/:id/play | Register a play for a customer β returns the prize outcome |
All endpoints require company authentication via X-Company-Slug header. The GET /games/:id response includes the look & feel configuration your app uses to render the card or wheel.
Typical App Flowβ
- Call
GET /gamesto discover active games for the session. - For each game, call
GET /games/:idto retrieve the look & feel config and prize pool. - Render the game UI using the returned artwork URLs, colors, segment labels, and copy.
- When the customer plays, call
POST /games/:id/playwith the customer identifier. - The response includes the selected prize outcome β render the reveal animation accordingly.
Best Practicesβ
- Keep prize labels short β long text is truncated on small wheel segments.
- Use contrasting colors between adjacent wheel segments for readability.
- Show remaining plays prominently so customers know their entitlement.
- Display odds disclosures per applicable regulation requirements.
How It Worksβ
- You upload brand assets (card artwork, wheel images) and configure colors and copy in the game settings.
- The configuration is served via the Streaming API when your app requests active games for a customer.
- The app renders the game UI using the returned configuration β no hardcoded visuals in the app are needed.
- When the customer plays, the app calls the play endpoint; the platform returns the prize outcome and the app shows the reveal animation.
